February Chefs’ Gathering – In the Spirit of SVÉT
On February 27–28, our Chefs’ Gathering series returns with another exclusive gastronomic evening at La Vie Gourmet Restaurant, placing the philosophy of Stílusos Vidéki Éttermiség (SVÉT) at its heart: the priority of local ingredients, a sustainable mindset, and value-driven thinking in contemporary Hungarian cuisine.
The guest of the evening is László Ruprecht, President of SVÉT and one of the defining figures of modern Hungarian gastronomy. Drawing on decades of national and international experience, his work focuses on Hungarian ingredients, the reinterpretation of regional traditions, as well as experiential gastronomy and agrotourism.
For this special occasion, Executive Chef Attila Borda and his team present a 7-course seasonal tasting menu, built around the concept of culinary collaboration. Three dishes bear the signature of the guest chef, offering subtle references to the distinctive character of sturgeon, Mangalica pork, and venison, while the complete menu unfolds as a unified narrative celebrating the diversity of local ingredients.
The Chefs’ Gathering is a culinary dialogue between tradition and innovation, where professional respect, creativity, and sustainability—rooted in responsibly sourced local produce—come together to define the experience.
The 7-course tasting dinner is priced at HUF 48,000 and is also available to external guests.
Hotel guests are entitled to an exclusive 30% discount.
The event is subject to advance table reservation, and availability is limited.
